The two AAIS disclosure notices that describe the extent to which coverage is excluded under the non-certified terrorism exclusion endorsements have been acknowledged by the Missouri Department of Insurance and are attached to this Bulletin. In addition to
the certified terrorism loss disclosure requirements set forth in the Terrorism Risk
Insurance Act of 2002, Missouri Bulletin 03-01, dated March 18, 2003, requires that
disclosures also be made any time that a non-certified terrorism exclusion endorsement is
attached to a policy. As a result, AAIS has developed two non-certified disclosure
notices: one that can be used when nuclear, biological, chemical and other acts which are
subject to thresholds are excluded, and one that can be used when only nuclear,
biological, and chemical acts are excluded.
Disclosure
notices CL 0315 04 03 and CL 0316 04 03 were submitted for informational
