Status of Non-Certified Terrorism Endorsement and Rule Filings
Updated
The non-certified endorsement and rule filings have recently been
approved in the following 6 states, effective 6/1/03:
District of Columbia, Maryland, Missouri, Oklahoma, Utah, and
Vermont
Also, in the state of Washington, the non-certified endorsement
and rule filings have recently been approved for AAIS advisory
programs (those programs for which companies must still take
filing action) effective 4/1/03, and for all other filed
Commercial programs effective 6/1/03. See the Washington
information, located at http://www.aaisonline.com/terror/WA.htm,
for a list of the programs that are effective on each date.
Of
the 48 jurisdictions where non-certified filings have been
submitted, the AAIS materials are now approved, or are otherwise
available for use, in 42 jurisdictions.
The
state-specific information posted at the AAIS public Web site, at http://www.aaisonline.com/terror/StateAction.htm,
is being updated as necessary to reflect the endorsement numbers
approved for each state; the AAIS filing numbers; the
state-assigned filing numbers, if applicable; and the company
action needed to adopt the filings.
