This is a status report on the AAIS
endorsements that restate the war exclusion and that exclude loss
resulting from non-certified acts of terrorism. Each endorsement
is posted adjacent to Bulletin 02-0550 at the AAIS public Web

Non-Certified Terrorism Endorsements Approved or Available
The endorsements are approved or otherwise available for most
affected lines of insurance in the 35 states listed below. These
endorsements become effective as of April 1, 2003, except as
noted.
Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas,
Colorado, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa (to be deemed effective
4/1/03), Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts
(effective 2/24/03), Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana,
Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire (effective 2/24/03), New Jersey,
New Mexico, North Carolina (effective 5/1/03), North Dakota, Ohio
(effective 2/19/03), Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South
Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia,
Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
The state-specific information
posted at the AAIS public Web site is being updated daily to
reflect the endorsement numbers approved for each state; the AAIS
filing numbers; the state-assigned filing numbers, if applicable;

Non-Certified Terrorism Endorsements Still Pending
The endorsements are still pending in the jurisdictions listed
below. In these jurisdictions, the effective date will be changed
to June 1, 2003 or later, except as noted.
Alaska, California (proposed
effective 5/1/03), Connecticut, Washington DC, Hawaii (proposed
effective 5/1/03), Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, Oklahoma, Puerto
Rico, Utah, Vermont, Washington
Notification will be provided via Product
Advisory as the pending filings are approved.
