SOUTH DAKOTA NO LONGER REQUIRES ANNUAL RATE FILINGS

WEB SEMINARS TO COVER IMG CONSTRUCTION, TRANSIT CLASSES
Robert Guevara, AVP for inland marine, will present two Web seminars covering revisions of key sections of the Inland Marine Guide:
Feb. 11: Construction classes (Builders' Risk, Contractors' Equipment, Installation Floater, Riggers' Liaiblity)
Mar. 10: Transit classes (Motor Truck Cargo, Transit, Warehouse Legal Liability)

WEB SEMINAR ON COP RATING SYSTEM RE-SCHEDULED FOR JAN. 21 AT 1:00
Alma Gordon-Smith, manager of inland marine, will describe and demonstrate the COP Rating System software, recently updated to support the 3.0 revision of the Commercial Output Program. Participation is restricted to companies affiliated with AAIS for use of the COP. AAIS State Filings Guide 01/04 Update - Change In Inland Marine Filing Requirements

Effective immediately for any of the traditional non-filed inland marine classes, the Arkansas Department of Insurance no longer requires the filing of rules and rates, and the North Dakota Department of Insurance has confirmed that forms do not have to be filed.
